Mogus, our very own shed cat passed away on Saturday 7th November 2009. Over the years Mogus has dutifully patrolled the shed front between the coal bunker and the pits. He was often found warming the chairs of the engineering staff in their mess room.

For the last few months, as he had been showing signs of deteriorating health, he had been living off-site with the Pakes family. If anyone has any special memories and/or pictures of Mogus they'd like to share, please use the "Contact Us" link above or speak to our webmaster at the railway.
