The weekends diesel event continues despite the weather. On Sunday, planned locomotives are D8098, D5401 and D123 plus the DMU. The Black 5 is in traffic as is standard 2 78019

One of the steam locomotives is planned to work top and tail with the diesel locomotive to provide constant train heating.

We'll keep operating and running what we can, while we can! With more snow forecast and temperatures remaining sub zero we will try to keep operational disruption to a minimum.

The class 50 locomotive was withdrawn at the requests of its owners due to the freezing temperatures.
