Its a busy weekend with an array of motive power - steam and diesel - running to a busy passenger timetable.
Normal fares apply, so soak up plenty of miles behind five great locos! There are full line return trips and shuttle trains running between Loughborough and Rothley complete with box vans and carriages marshalled together.
Steam locomotives in action are BR Standard 2 number 78019, GWR Hall number 4953 "Pitchford Hall", LMS Jinty number 47406,
On Saturday the class 27 D5401 will be in action, On Sunday Deltic D9009 will haul passenger trains.
Adult runabout tickets are just £14, Seniors £12 and Children £9. Discounts for members of the Friends of the Great Central Main Line apply.
On the final train of the day on Saturday and Sunday (the 4.45pm from Loughborough) the Standard 2 and the Jinty will double head.


Please note, the usual 9.45am departure from Loughborough which usually consists of a diesel railcar has been suspended this weekend.
