Postman Pat - NEW FOR 2010 - Saturday 28 August 2010 to Monday 30 August 2010

Everybody's favourite Postman is coming to the Great Central Railway for the August Bank Holiday weekend. Come and meet Pat, learn to write and post a postcard (at Rothley) and see inside a travelling post office train (at Quorn and Woodhouse station). There's a children's entertainer performing during the day from 10.30am, as well as face painting and other activities, so there is plenty to keep the whole family busy!

Postman Pat will meet families at Loughborough Central station at 11am, midday, 1pm, 2pm and 3pm

Take afternoon tea on the 2.15pm train from Loughborough Central, involving sandwiches, cakes and drinks (and a souvenir for younger travellers). By prebooking only (£5 per person in addition to train fare).

We hope you will choose to join us for this event!
