The world famous steam locomotive 'Tornado' as seen on BBCTVs top gear is visiting the Great Central Railway for just three weeks in March.

Join us for a special all steam weekend to celebrate her arrival. All locomotives in steam this weekend are visitors so catch them while you can! Joining Tornado in steam will be two other visiting locomotives, Leander and BR Standard 4 number 80072. There will be a forty five minute departure schedule. Griddle car available on trains, or visit Ellis's tea room at Rothley.
