Soup of the Day
served with a warm bread roll

cooked in a Provençal Sauce *

It may occasionally be necessary to change the published menu.
* The choice of main course must be booked in advance.

An extensive range of wines, beers and spirits
is available for purchase from the Steward.

A vegetarian alternative is available, which must be ordered when booking.

Your four-course lunch is served aboard our First Class Restaurant Cars as one of our historic main line steam locomotives takes you on a leisurely journey through the Leicestershire countryside.

The train departs from Loughborough Central at 1.15 p.m., returning at 2.40 p.m.

Your meal is served during the journey and there will normally be a pause on Swithland viaduct with its magnificent views across the reservoir to Charnwood Forest.

Vouchers can be ordered for any number, the most popular vouchers are for two or four people.
