Area Groups

The Friends of the Great Central Main Line has two Area Groups at present and wishes to increase that number.

The Area Groups provide a series of evenings of talks, slides and films on a whole range of railway topics not limited to just the Great Central Railway. However, they do provide a forum for members to meet and discuss progress on the railway and the latest project progress.

The meetings are not limited to members only but family, friends and colleagues are invited to attend so that the message about our excellent railway may be spread far and wide.

The programme of meetings for the two groups, their location and contact information are set out below:

As before all our meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month at Weston Favell Parish Hall, Booth Lane South, Northampton NN3 3EP and start at 7.30pm. All are welcome. Our Catering Dept will be on hand to provide refreshments during the break AND the hall should, if all goes to plan, have a brand new heating system to keep you warm when the chilly winter evenings arrive.

For more information contact Tony Hemmings on 01536 514 341
