Wine Tasting Evening
Friday, 18th September - £72 per person

Includes complimentary wine pairing with each course by Weavers of Nottingham

We are pleased to announce that we'll be hosting our first ever Pullman wine tasting evening  in conjunction with Weavers of Nottingham.  The evening will take place on our luxury Pullman dining train with a Presecco reception on board the elegant bar cars.  Weavers, a fifth generation family wine supplier, continue to supply the most comprehensive and creative range of wines, from the popular easy drinking styles through to the traditional and more unusual.  The event, at Loughborough Central Station will commence at 6.45pm with a Presecco reception and an introduction by Mary Trease of Weavers.

GCR Cromwell Pullman Launch

A six course meal will follow after a 7.30pm departure on board our Pullman restaurant cars.  The menu incorporates the finest selection of ingredients from the world's most respected wine regions; each course will have a wine pairing carefully selected by Mary.

The price includes the full cost of the train ticket. and rail travel is also unlimited on the following date of dining.

Rioja braised lamb shanks with chorizo and garlic

Served with chef’s selection of vegetables

Vegetarian Choices

Butternut squash half, filled with cannellini beans, mozzarella cheese, peppers & tomatoes, topped with pumpkin & sunflower seed crumb

Caramelised red onion and goat’s cheese filo tart served with a Mediterranean compote

Oven baked pepper filled with sweetcorn, balsamic rice & petit pois served with a roasted white onion cream sauce
