Please note that each character can only appear for 30 minutes at any one time due to health and safety procedures. Please be aware there may be a queue to see the characters, but they do switch every half an hour to ensure you get to meet them. Why not meet one character in the morning, enjoy the rest of your day and return later in the day to meet and greet with the other character?

Fares

All-day runabout tickets - Include event entry and provide unlimited travel on our trains on the day.

Family (2 adults and up to 3 children): £40.

Family (1 adult and up to 3 children): £30.

Adult: £16.

Senior: £14.

Child: £9

 

 

Train tickets may also be purchased from our booking offices, including on the day of your visit, subject to availability. Online booking is recommended as that will save queuing to buy a ticket.

TICKETS ALLOW UNLIMITED TRAVEL ON ALL TRAINS FOR THE WHOLE DAY AND INCLUDE ALL ENTERTAINMENT EXCEPT THE FUN FAIR AND THE FACE PAINTING

No short hop tickets available between stations. PLATFORM TICKETS AT LOUGHBOROUGH WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE

*Normal discounts apply for members of Friends of Great Central Main Line to buy Privilege rate tickets upon production of membership card.
*HRA pass holders can travel at Privilege rates.
*Working members of other heritage railways with whom GCR has reciprocal arrangements for reduced fares, will be eligible for Privilege fares upon production of valid working membership cards.
*Same arrangements apply as above for holders of ex British Rail and Train Operating Company passes.
