Classic & Vintage Vehicle Festival – 16 & 17 May

A weekend festival for a great selection of classic cars and vintage vehicles.

The 2-day event, will be showcasing classic and vintage cars – and other vehicles - from yesteryear. Immerse yourself in the atmospheric backdrop of passing steam trains at the historic Quorn & Woodhouse Station.   gcrvintagevehicles

There's live retro music on both days from Big E & Jam The Legend and D J Swordfish.  Our real ale 'Shanty bar' will be serving up a selection of real ales and ciders from the Nottingham Brewery in a friendly atmosphere - catch up with other like-minded enthusiasts over a pint!  The real ale 'Shanty bar' is open from 11am - 5pm on both days with a choice of Extra Pale Ale 4.2%, Legend Bitter 4.0% and GCR's very own Raleway Ale at 4.3% - all priced at just £3 per pint.

We have a lovely range of vehicles coming including: 1934 MG, 1935 Austin 7, 1923 Bentley 3L Vanden Plas, 1932 Hilman Minx, 1951 Vincent Comet, 1955 Swallow Doretti, 1932 Lancaster and 1958 Magnette.  The Lotus Car Club and the Grantham Car Club will also be in attendance.

Entrance to the event is £5 per person – if you hand in your ticket when booking a travel ticket, this £5 is redeemable (entrance to the event is free to holders of GCR travel tickets).  Classic vehicles and their passengers are entitled to free entry.

Normal train fares apply and the event uses the purple timetable: click here

To bring your classic vehicle, or belong to a club and would like to make a group booking, please email or phone on 01509 632315 - it's free with a privilege rate travel ticket!

If you cannot attend this event, but would like to be informed of future events, we have an ever-increasing database of members to our Classic & Vintage Vehicle Club.
