Quorn Swap Meet – 10th September 2017

If you are interested in items of railway memorabilia (railwayana) – whether locomotive nameplates, lamps, signalling equipment, silverware, enamel signs, buttons, badges, books, photographs or postcards etc visit Great Central Railway’s famous Swap Meet at Quorn & Woodhouse station. It’s one of the longest standing events of its kind in the country!

Please note any stalls selling non railway memorabilia or associated items will be asked to shut immediately.

Gates open at 7.30am.

Please note that the gates to the car park will be locked until 7:30am. No overnight parking will be allowed.
Please DO NOT arrive early and queue outside. The approach road must be kept clear.

Gate entry fee £5 per head (does not include travel on the trains, see below) - and everyone pays the same, whether buying, selling or just browsing.

New for 2017, you will be issued with a ticket on payment of your entry fee. You can use this ticket to get a discount of £3.00 of any train travel on the day of issue, short hop or round trip.

Also we will be opening the Tin Shed Shanty Bar from 11.00am at each meeting, serving real ales, cider, lager, wines and soft drinks, we look forward to seeing there!!
