We're restarting our programme of online talks, beginning on 7th February with a talk about Boscastle.
The first former Main Line steam railway loco to arrive at the GCR in the 70s, it has already returned to steam once but is now in the middle of a complete rebuild ready for years of service ahead.
Join broadcaster Tom Ingall in an online conversation with leading lights from the project, to discuss its career in service, how it was saved for the GCR and its first period in traffic in preservation. We'll also hear the latest about its current overhaul. The powerful West Country Class locomotive is destined to be a popular flagship loco for the railway for years to come.
As always the fully illustrated talk will last around an hour and will be delivered by Zoom. You can download Zoom free of charge for PC, or mobile device.
We ask for a donation of £10 to join the talk, and you can book by clicking here. Once you've donated you'll receive the meeting code and password via email, at around midday on Sunday 7th of February.
The proceeds will be split between Boscastle Locomotive Ltd and the Reunification Project.
Thank you for your support. We look forward to your company on the 7th of February.
