Beer Festival and Pistons and Pumps – Fri 25th to Sun 27th September 2020

Our annual Beer Festival will take a different form this year, with a smaller event taking place at Quorn & Woodhouse station only alongside our annual end of the season Pistons & Pumps Festival where we welcome traction engines, tractors, vintage machinery and classic cars and commercial vehicles.

The station will be open from 10.00am each day to view the exhibits. The marquee will open for the Beer Festival from 11.00am each day closing at 10:00pm on the Friday and Saturday and 7.00pm on the Sunday. We will be offering a selection of real ales, ciders, wines and prosecco.

ENTRY TO THE BEER FESTIVAL ON QUORN YARD IS FREE OF CHARGE

On Saturday afternoon, there will be a road run through the village of Quorn starting at 4.00pm from the station yard.

Real Ale Selection

Over the course of the weekend, we will have the following selection of real ales on offer however some ales will not be available on the Friday.

Lilleys Gladiator Medium 8.4%, Snailsbank Mango 4.0%, Snailsbank Appley Dappley Sweet 5.2%, Lilleys Bee Sting Sweet Perry 7.5%,

Gwynt Cider Happy Daze Medium 4.5%, Gwynt Cider Black Dragon Medium Dry 7.2%, Celtic Marches Slack Alice Medium 4.6%

Broadoak Pheasant Plucker Medium 4.5% and Broadoak Moonshine Cider Medium 7.5%

We will be running our train services from the Quorn station but you are advised to book your tickets on line in advance to avoid disappointment.

COVID REQUIREMENTS

Further to the governments announcement this week, we will be operating at the Tin Shed as follows:

On arrival please register at the registration point using your smart phone to scan the QR code for NHS Track and Trace or by completing the Track and Trace form. Please then find a table where a member of staff will take your drinks order. All drinks will be served at your table. A maximum of 6 people are allowed at any one table. Please wear face masks except when enjoying your beverage.

Last orders will be at 9.00pm and you must leave the site by 10.00pm when the site entry gates will be locked
