Quorn Swap Meet
If you are interested in items of railway memorabilia (railwayana) – whether locomotive nameplates, lamps, signalling equipment, silverware, enamel signs, buttons, badges, books, photographs or postcards etc visit Great Central Railway’s famous Swap Meet at Quorn & Woodhouse station. It’s one of the longest standing events of its kind in the country!
Swap Meets take place on:
- Sunday 28th June 2020 - Postponed.
- Sunday 6th September 2020 - Postponed.
Please note any stalls selling non railway memorabilia or associated items will be asked to shut immediately.
Gates open at 7.30am.
Please note that the gates to the car park will be locked until 7:30am. No overnight parking will be allowed.
Please DO NOT arrive early and queue outside. The approach road must be kept clear.
Gate entry fee £5 per head (does not include travel on the trains, see below) - and everyone pays the same, whether buying, selling or just browsing.
You will be issued with a ticket on payment of your entry fee. You can use this ticket to get a discount of £3.00 of any train travel on the day of issue, please note "Short Hops" are not available at the September event.
Butler Henderson café will be open from 8:00 selling breakfasts, snacks and hot drinks.
