Take a heritage train ride, meet our home fleet of locomotives, and see what goes on across our working railway. There’ll be plenty to see and do throughout the weekend — from guided tours and footplate visits to refreshments and family-friendly activities — all set against the backdrop of Britain’s only double track, main line heritage railway.

Step inside the footplate of the 9F and see the inner workings of a heritage locomotive.
Refreshments available across all stations – from cafés and platform tea rooms to our popular on-train Griddle and Buffet Car services.
The Tin Shed at Quorn will also be open between 10am and 4pm serving light refreshments including tea, coffee, beers and ciders.
Take part in a guided tours of Loughborough Central station starting at 13.30 on each day, learn all about the past, present and future of the station.
