On the drawing table

February 3, 2026

The experts at our project partners Cass Hayward are working hard to get the designs for the Factory Flyover section of Reunification completed by the end of April 2026.

This is the section across the factory car park and the crossing of Railway Terrace road. Richard Clough (above right) from Cass Hayward has a brief update on where the team have got to.

“Final geometry for the structures is fixed and has had to take account of the as-constructed position and levels (height) of the MML Bridge (74A), remains of the original MML bridge, and the new 2025 site wide topographical survey.

The team is pressing full steam ahead with detailed design analysis,  production of concrete outline drawings and the accompanying reinforcement details which tell the contractor exactly what to make / build and where to put it.”

Once the final designs are complete we can then approach contractors and ask them to tender to build these two significant bits of infrastructure. We still want to get building as soon as possible but we can only do so if we have all the funds in place. Please keep donating and we’ll keep going. Every penny helps.
