Another Openin, Another Murder – The Progressive Repertory Artistic Theatrical Strollers are on tour and due in Little Hampton. But the train must wait, and the show may not go on, as leading lady, Carmen Rollers has been found murdered in her First-Class compartment.  Is ingénue actress Mae Kupp desperate for a bigger part? Is Manager Ivor Bucking looking to fill a vacancy? Or has elderly actress, Dame Artvest played out her final scene? As ever, D.I Archie Bauls is on hand to set the scene and assist your enquiries before the final curtain comes down on your investigation.

The Going is Fatal – It’s the day of the 1929 Little Hampton Gold Cup and everyone is excited about a trip to the races! Sadly, local trainer, Roy Lascott, has fallen at the first fence! Has stable owner, Bea Chersbruck discovered something amiss amongst the hay? Has gambler, Newton Abbott finally placed the wrong bet? Dressing the Part

Dressing up isn’t essential, but it definitely adds to the fun! Whether it’s vintage glamour, 1920s flair, or classic evening wear, getting into character helps set the scene and makes the night feel even more special.

Table Layout

Please note that, due to the historic layout and fixed seating of our heritage dining carriages, most tables are arranged for four diners. A limited number of dedicated tables for two are available; otherwise, on this train, guests booking for two may be seated at a shared table with fellow diners unless a premium table for two has been reserved at time of booking.

Stations Information

All First-Class Dining Experience tickets come with complimentary rail travel for the day of dining, on any standard passenger services. Allowing you to hop on and off to explore all our historic stations. So, why not start your First-Class Dining Experience in style and arrive at your departure station by train. If your reservations are on a non-train running day, your ticket will be valid for the following running day.
