Great Central Railway hosts one of the longest standing events of its kind in the country and this year we are celebrating our 40 years anniversary.
In addition to the usual opportunities to buy and sell railway memorabilia (railwayana) like locomotive nameplates, lamps, signalling equipment, silverware, enamel signs, buttons, badges, books, photographs and postcards we will also host stalls of telecommunications equipment and paraphernalia in the marquee, courtesy of the Telecommunications Heritage Group. We will also permit sales of telephony in the station yard. We will also be hosting a raffle draw in the Quorn marquee where you will have the chance to win a range of prizes!
To put on a stall is an additional £5, payable on entry
Each entry ticket will act as a raffle ticket for a number of exciting prizes, including:
The raffle will be drawn at 11.30am in the marquee, so make sure you come along for a chance to win!
We’ll also have our usual train service running all day, so come along and enjoy a unique collectors experience, explore our 1940s station, take a nostalgic train ride and pop into the Butler Henderson Cafe, opening at 7:30 AM for a bacon roll or fresh cup of Tea or Coffee.
