Here’s some important news for our shareholders. The Extraordinary General Meeting which had been due to take place in the morning of the 26th of September has been postponed. No replacement date has yet been fixed.
At the AGM held in mid July, shareholders approved investigation into the conversion of the PLC into a Charitable Community Benefit Society should continue. Since then, different options have been examined which require more legal and financial advice.
Richard Patching, GCR PLC chairman said, “We’d like to thank our shareholders for their patience while we continue to develop our proposals, which will transform our corporate structure. Our work continues and we want to ensure we’ve explored the alternatives and made the right choices. In due course, we’ll get back in touch with shareholders to invite them to an EGM to discuss and vote on them.”
The next issue of the shareholders newsletter will be sent via email to all GCR shareholders in the coming weeks.
