Murder Mystery Trains – 2020

Our ever popular Murder Mystery Trains put you at the heart of a thrilling case. A four course gourmet meal is served as the plot develops during this thrilling, steam hauled round trip...Crack the clues and make sure the killer gets his just desserts before yours is served.   Opening scenes commence on the platform at 7pm with trains departing from Loughborough at 7.30pm.  Tickets are priced at £74 per person, prices include the 5 course meal and the full cost of the train ticket. Rail travel is unlimited on the day following your meal where trains are in operation.

Coronavirus
(last update 22nd September 2020): First Class dining services have now resumed, and we are continuing to contact all customers who were booked for services which were postponed during the period of temporary closure.Please be assured that we will be happy to transfer existing bookings to a future date to be agreed. We are grateful for the patience and understanding of our customers during this difficult time for us all.

The Progressive Repertory Artistic Theatrical Strollers are on tour and due in Little Hampton. But the train must wait, and the show may not go on, as leading lady, Carmen Rollers has been found murdered in her First-Class compartment. Is ingénue actress Mae Kupp desperate for a bigger
part? Is Manager Ivor Bucking looking to fill a vacancy? Or has elderly actress, Dame Artvest played out her final scene? As ever, D.I Archie Bauls is on hand to set the scene and assist your enquiries before the final curtain comes down on your investigation.

It’s the day of the 1929 Little Hampton Gold Cup and everyone is excited about a trip to the races! Sadly, local trainer, Roy Lascott, has fallen at the first fence! Has stable owner, Bea Chersbruck discovered something amiss amongst the hay? Has gambler, Newton Abbott finally placed the wrong bet? Or has Wyn Canton, owner of the race favourite, found the going too hard?

Happily, D.I Archie Bauls is on fine form and will guide you to the winning post.

Murder On The Home Front

The War is over! Peace at last! But the celebrations must wait, as village busybody Evelyn Tentt has just been discovered murdered in the waiting room! Has the lovely Anna Dynn found her to be a constant headache? Has wounded soldier Eamonn Phyre had enough of her probing his war
wound? Perhaps local dignitary Lady Wanda Aymlessly is not as dignified as she likes to make out.
Whatever the reason, D.I Bauls will be assisting your efforts to uncover the truth.

I Die With My Little Spy

It’s 1959; the height of the Cold War and a chill wind blows through Thymely over Actin Station after the shock discovery of the murdered body of mild-mannered professor, Gustave Wynd! Tensions run high as the finger of suspicion points in all directions. Is his sniffling companion, Katya Khold really as distraught as she makes out? Has local photographer, Cameron Phlasche been poking his long lens in where it
wasn’t wanted? And is the reticent Anna Nymity holdingon to something big? Assist MI6’s top agent, Mister Ree to uncover the truth and reveal who will declare “I Spy”!

It’s 1929 and it’s the time of year when families travel to visit their loved ones, but for poor Mary Unbryte, it’s a oneway trip. She has come to stay in Thymely for Christmas, but she’s been murdered on the train! Has fellow passenger, Chris Tingle given her the wrong present? Has his devoted companion, Bea White discovered something untoward beneath the mistletoe? Or has Mary’s sister, May Yordayze been filled with the wrong kind of Christmas spirit? Fortunately, DI Bauls is on hand to help you unwrap this seasonal mystery.
